What is Toratemath?

Introduction: To understand what this project is all about, let's explain some concepts.

Rachei Tevot (Initials)

By taking the first letter of each word, we can find hidden messages. For example:

Bereshit - Chapter 1 - 31:

By taking the first letters, we uncover one of God's names, a kind of signature to end the world's creation.

Sofei Tevot (Final Letters)

The same process applies to the last letter of each word. For example:

The last letters of the final words spell אמת (truth), perhaps indicating that the whole creation is real.

Guematria

Each letter has a numerical value, so each word has a value obtained by summing the letter values. This is called Guematria.

Example 1: The word "Torah" (תורה) has a value of 611. Combining this with the 2 commandments directly given by God, we get 613 mitzvot.

Example 2: The word Elokim (a name of God) has the value of 86, the same as הטבע (Nature). This suggests that what we call "Nature" is God's presence.
